Zero-Cost Social Media Marketing Ideas | #GetSocialSmart Show Episode 241

– In this video, I'm gonna share with you a few of my favorite zero cost
social media marketing ideas. (upbeat music) Hey everybody, Katie Lance here, founder and CEO of Katie Lance Consulting the Get Social Smart Academy and author of the book "Get Social Smart." It's episode 241 of the
Get Social Smart show, and today I'm gonna share
with you three of my zero cost social media marketing tools
that I absolutely love. Tip number one, Linktree. I absolutely love Linktree. Linktree is a great free resource, there's also a paid version. But what I love about Linktree is I specifically use Linktree for Instagram.

When you sign up for Linktree, you can add your fonts, your colors. You can really personalize
it and make it your own. And especially if you're in real estate, I know a lot of you are in real estate who are watching this. You know, when I go over to Instagram and as a lot of you know, you're only allowed one live
link in all of Instagram. So a lot of people put
a link to their website or their Facebook page. But when you have a Linktree, you can link to your
listings or your open houses or community information or sign up for your email newsletter, things like that.

So Linktree. It's awesome. It's one of my favorite free tools. Tip number two, Unsplash. I absolutely love Unsplash. Unsplash.com is a great free
resource for stock photos. You know, a picture's
worth a thousand words. And so when you go to Unsplash, you can go to unsplash.com, you can also download the free app, which is awesome. So if you're looking for
some great stock photos for Instagram graphics or for any graphics that you're creating on your phone. I love that I can search
things like sunset or front door or home. And again, just beautiful
graphics quickly and easily. I absolutely love those. You can use those
graphics for social media, your print marketing,
and all kinds of things that you might use in terms of marketing. Tip number three, Videoshop.

I am always asked about what
are some of my favorite apps when it comes to video editing, and there are a lots of them out there, but I absolutely love Videoshop. It's an app that's
available on your phone, whether you're on iPhone, Android. And what I love about Videoshop is you could easily import multiple clips. So if you are out and about,
and if you're creating a maybe a video with a, you know, two second clip of the backyard of a pool or two seconds of a kitchen, and maybe you're creating
a little listing video. You can take those clips,
import those into Videoshop. You can speed it up, you can add music, you can add your logo
and it's easy and simple and best of all, it's free. Now, if you're listening
to this going okay, I, I like free stuff, right? Because the good news
is it doesn't have to cost a whole lot of money to have an effective social media strategy.

We have a ton of freebies. In fact, we have a brand
new page up on our website. If you go to katielance.com/freebies, katielance.com/freebies, we have a ton of free guides
on YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, all of the
social media channels. So check that out. All right. I would love to hear from you. Are you familiar with any of those tools? Let me know in the comments below. And what's your favorite free tool? Would absolutely love to hear
your favorite free resources. Put those in the comments below. If you're watching over on YouTube, make sure you hit the subscribe
button and the bell button, as have new videos that come
out each and every week. And until next time we'll see you soon. Bye for now. (upbeat music).
